Investing is one of the ways to plant capital or aset with the hopes to earn profit in the future through stocks, bonds or mutual funds. According to Tandelilin (2010), Investing is a commitment over a certain amount of fund and  resources in the present time to gain profit in the future. Investments are made because of needs that are need to be filled by an individual in the future either to add worth on ones assets or to secure the value of an asset so it could be used in the upcoming future when there is crisis or inflation (Kusmawati, 2011). Online Investments is a process of allocating funds in various financial instrujments through digital platforms. Online Investment are one of the examples of the development of financial technology. As the times go by, the gates of financial technology opens wider; tthe existence of online investment apps like Bibit, Ajaib, StockBit dan Pluang, open the door for society, especially young adults, to enter the investing scene inside of the money market easily whereas back in the past traditional investing activities are faced with many obstacles like pricey transaction fees, complex process and the lack of knowledge on what is investment and they types of investments there are. Quoting an article published by IDX on February 04 2025, “Currently, from 5,7 million stock investors, majority of them have online trading apps. Of course those apps have their own fittings and complexity, some being complex others being basic, making investors need more information by downloading IDX Mobile.” This quote was also backed up by the data from the rising percentage of IDX Mobile user at 47% since December 31st 2023 with the average user of 306 users daily.

The rise of participation comes with a few important implications.
